This stunning contemporary 4 star hotel is located at the southern gateway to the Cotswolds, six miles north of Swindon in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park and just three miles from Cirencester.  The hotel looks over a stunning lake and wetlands.  Close by there is a wealth of activities and places to visit to make a memorable stay at any time of year.

Hotel rooms are very spacious and stylish, I stayed in one of the superior rooms and asked for a lake view with decking outside.  Room was spacious and very comfortable and had a stunning view of the lake.  If you want a lake view room, just be sure you ask for this to guarantee a room with a view of the lake.  The room is a great relaxing room to unwind in after a day out of exploring.  A great little gadget can also be found in each room, you will find an inform tablet that gives you information of places to visit in the local area, information about the hotel, ability to book spa treatments and order room service.  There is a wide selection of radio channels to listen to on the tablet and magazines to read.

The hotel has a wonderful selection of places to eat and drink from its quaint Duck Cafe where you can order light bites and drinks, to the hotels Brasserie Restaurant for seasonal dinning.  The Hotel also has open during the day the Old Boathouse Restaurant & Bar for your more classic dishes and the main Lounge Bar at the heart of the hotel to relax in till late.

Out and about, there are 152 lakes spread across the Cotswold Water Park, many of these parks offer you adventure and excitement on the water as well as spectacular walks taking in stunning wildlife.  There truly is something for everyone staying at the Cotswolds De Vere Hotel whether you are after a relaxing luxury spa break or want to hit the lakes to take part in the variety of water sports available, to try your hand at fishing, check out the scenic walks or get on a mountain bike.  Theres also some amazing stunning and historic villages and towns to explore like the old Roman town of Cirencester.

Gym & Spa:

The hotels gym is your usual small sized gym that you find in most hotels, but is more than suitable for any hotel guest be it on a break or staying at the hotel for business.  The equipment consists of state of the art Techno Gym cardio & resistance equipment.  The gym also has a good selection of CrossFit equipment including battle ropes, power bags and suspension straps.

The spa is well laid out relaxing and luxurious, with a lovely hydrotherapy pool at the heart of the spa.  Both the sauna and steam rooms are very well constructed, luxurious & relaxing.  Around the pool are plenty of seating areas to relax by the pool.  On poolside, there is also a bucket shower and experience shower.  The only downside about the spa area is the lack of having no jacuzzi, instead there is within the pool there are jacuzzi beds.  It’s as if they built this stunning hotel and got to the spa and ran out of room to put a jacuzzi, however it is still a very luxurious and relaxing retreat.

There are a wide range of treatments available from relaxing massages to cleansing facials as well as a selection of luxury signature treatments exclusive to Spa6, as well as beauty treatments and male grooming.  Also available in the spa is a dry floatation room or ancient Rasul Therapy experience.

Cotswolds De Vere Hotel is just 20 minutes from J15 of the M4 and J11A of the M5 with Bristol airport just over an hour away.

Free, superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum bandwidth of 1Gb is available throughout the hotel.

Star Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
