Half Marathon Training With Mike Buss | Part 5

Follow Mike Buss, World Record Breaking Endurance Athlete over the next 2 weeks, giving you top advice for your preparations for this year’s Half Marathon training.

TWO WEEKS TO GO – Final Preparation:

It’s only a couple of weeks to go, so you should be right on top of your training.

You should be aiming at running 20miles a week minimum, and you should look to do a 10mile run as one of your training sessions if you haven’t done so already.

If you are doing more than this than this, then great! Your race time will reflect your training.  You should already have started using supplements such as ISO2 Complete Energy if you are going to use them on race day.

If you are going to buy a new pair of running shoes, then you should do this in the next couple of days, so you have time to break them in and get used to them especially if you are buying a different model and brand shoe to what you are used to, so get yourself down to The Big Adventure Store if you are near Swindon or your nearest Sweat Shop.
