Well my knee injury is over and training has got back on track and looking forward to my next charity challenge to take on the XNRG SAS Fan Dance Challenge…

For anyone that thinks the Fan Dance is some dance in a club, think again, the term Fan Dance is used when soldiers talk about running up and down the Pen Y Fan in the Brecon Beacons, the training ground for the SAS.

XNRG who organise a number of Ultra Races in the UK this month are running the 3rd SAS Challenge and I will be supporting the Army Prep Course from the Wiltshire College who recently took on my BOOTCAMP Challenge last month.

This will be the second of 3 challenges we are doing for Help for Heroes.  The course is planning to raise £4000

The challenge involves carrying 60lbs in weight, we will be wearing boots and combats and carrying rifles, and running up and down the Pen Y Fan 3 times inside of 5 1/2hrs.

Check out www.xnrg.co.uk for more details on this challenge
