Using the aqua belt

30-40 Minute Session.

4x widths of pool – normal walking

4x widths of pool, open stride out a bit further and lift the knee to near the surface.

4x widths breast stroke.

10x left knee raises only to surface of water.

10x right knee raises only to surface.

4x widths breast stroke.

10x knee raises (left leg) hold to chest for a couple of seconds and release.

10x as per last exercise with right leg.

4x widths breast stroke with hand float – legs only.

10x half squats, with legs shoulder width apart. Holding the side of pool if needed.

2x widths breast stroke with hand float – legs only.

10x half squats, legs close together, holding onto side if needed.

4x widths breast stroke.

 

Move to deep end.

 

use aqua belt – in water sprint for 1min jog for 30secs – repeat 10 times.
