Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)

Vitamin B2 is involved in energy metabolism and the developement of healthy hair, skin and nails…  Riboflavin is destroyed by sunlight so if you get your milk delivered then get it inside quickly after delivery, more than half the Riboflavin content in milk can be lost after just 2hrs exposure to sunlight.

Functions:

Essential for converting carbohydrate into energy, maintenance of healthy mucous membranes and involved in tissue respiration.

Sources:

Asparagus, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, bananas, persimmons, okra, chard, cottage cheese, milk, yogurt, meat, eggs and fish.
