Personal Training

I have been interested in health & fitness from a very early age, competing mainly in tennis & athletics as a kid and then after serving in the British Army, I turned to Ultra Distance Running as a professional athlete.  From the age of 16yrs old Ive also been coaching and fitness training individuals and groups from soldiers as an Army Physical Training Instructor to civilian street in both the private and public sector.

What I have learnt from this is most people can do anything if they are motivated.  This is where a Personal Trainer like myself comes in, a personal trainer is great for motivating people and setting goals.

In the first meeting with any new client, we discuss at some length, their goals (short & long term), diet and present lifestyle and why they have decided that this is the time they will take the first step to a fitter, healthier life.

I don’t promise that its going to be easy or that they are going to see results over night.  I do say that they will see an improvement in 12weeks and in 6months they will be pleasantly surprised, a year down the line if their fitness regime is kept up, they will be amazed with their results and feel a totally new person.

Together we find out likes and dislikes, there’s no point in doing something you don’t like, because as soon as you get bored or don’t like something, you will give up.  Give it up and you will lose all that hard work you put in and go back to square one.  So once a programme and goals set are achieved, new goals are set.

Check out your local personal trainers online, client reviews and their qualifications along with how long they have been a trainer.
