Hitting HARD

| 09/02/2012 | 18 Comments More

Yoga is out and hardcore workouts are in!  Bootcamp, fitness, circuit training, spinning and boxing.  This article is dedicated to boxing training, so grab your gloves and get ready to SWEAT!

Hardcore training has continued to become extremely popular and accessories like boxing gloves, heart rate monitors, skip ropes and kettlebells.

Gyms too such as Esporta, Next Generation and David Lloyds even have boxing rings in their clubs.

If you look at some of the fittest looking sports people and athletes, you have to turn to boxers like Prince Nassem whose fitness is unbelievable.

Boxing workouts are able to burn huge amounts of calories in just one session and regularly training like this will not only see your weight drop, but you will see muscle tone, and an increased cardiovascular capacity.

Even though this hard core exercise looks like it’s designed to kill you, it’s not about ‘No Pain No Gain’ its progressive like any workout programme and designed to just get you fit quick and burn those calories.  I would advise that before going into these classes, it’s worth taking a couple of personal training sessions with a trainer who is trained to teach boxing skilled workouts, so you can learn technique so prevent injury when training in groups where the trainer cant always see what you are doing to correct you if needed.
