Eating well is all about the different types of food that makes up our diet.

A Balanced Diet Includes:

  • Plenty of bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and other starchy foods
  • Plenty of Fruit & Vegetables
  • Milk & Dairy products
  • meat, fish, eggs, beans and non-dairy sources of protein
  • A small amount of foods and drinks containing high fat and/or sugar
  • Plenty of water

QUICK TIP:

  • Water is essential to help our bodies work properly.  Aim to drink 6-8 glasses (1.5ltrs) of water per day.
