People who paln their shop in advance by making a list of what they need at the supermarket not only save money and time but also have a healthier shop too!

  • Swap Sugar: Go for no added sugar options where ever you can (look on the labels)
  • Calories: Compare the labels on similar foods and choose the lower calorie option
  • Snack Check: Cut down on snack food or swap for healthier options.  Try rice cakes or fruit.
  • 5 A-Day: Its easier to make sure you have your 5 A-Day if you have it all wrote down on a shopping list.
  • Keep Your Eye on Salt: Go for LoSalt option – 3/4 of the salt we eat is already in much of the food we buy.
