You should have broken in your shoes, the sports drink tried and tested, long runs getting easier and thinking what to do after the Swindon Half…

Why not think about entering the London Marathon? Although all the ballot places are taken, you can still get a charity place.

There are many races and fun runs all over the UK of various distances and for all fitness levels.  A comprehensive race diary can be found in the Runner’s World Magazine or on their website www.runnersworld.co.uk

Your training:

  • Thursday – Rest
  • Friday – 30min run (gentle hills)
  • Saturday – 30min gentle jog
  • Sunday – Half Marathon Day
